We encourage all clergy and liturgical ministers to reflect on the Holy Father’s Papal Audiences on the documents of the Second Vatican Council,
including Sacrosanctum Concilium.
These audiences offer an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the Council’s teachings and their importance for the life and mission of the Church today.

As we begin the month of October, we invite you to reflect on the importance of sacred silence within the Liturgy. Silence is an essential part of the Church’s prayer, allowing us time to reflect on the Word of God, enter more deeply into the mysteries being celebrated, and become more attentive to the presence of God. The resource below explores when silence is needed within the Liturgy, as well as moments when music should continue, offering helpful guidance for clergy, musicians, and liturgical ministers.
